Since April 2022 Mothers Kitchen Byron Bay have been delivering a monthly breakfast service for people in the local community who are experiencing homelessness as part of Byron Bay Community Centre’s breakfast at Fletcher St Cottage. Fletcher St Cottage provides support, information, referral and advocacy to people at risk of homelessness or those already sleeping rough. The cottage is a welcoming, safe and respectful space where people can come to enjoy simple, practical relief opportunities, find connections and access broader support”.
Once a month we serve up a nourishing breakfast for the regular visitors. Our vegetarian menu often includes; frittata, fried mushrooms, veggie burgers, homemade baked beans and smoothies.
