4 DAY ADVAITA MEDITATION RETREAT WITH SWAMI ATMANANDA PURI OCT 30 – NOV 3

Join us for a transformative four-day retreat, where you’ll dive deep into the ancient wisdom of Advaita (Non-dualism) with Swami Atmananda Puri, set in a peaceful and spiritually uplifting environment. Surrounded by like-minded, sincere spiritual seekers, this retreat offers you the chance to immerse yourself in timeless teachings and inner exploration.

The teachings will focus on key verses from the first chapter of the Mandukya Karika, a profound commentary on the Mandukya Upanishad. This Upanishad is revered for its insightful examination of the sacred syllable “Aum”, symbolising the essence of ultimate reality. Through its exploration of various states of consciousness, the Mandukya Upanishad offers profound insights into the nature of existence, consciousness, and the true Self. In addition, we will be exploring the spiritual wisdom underlying Amma’s teachings. These teachings not only illuminate the path of self-realisation but also provide practical guidance for deepening meditation and spiritual practice.

The retreat will begin with an overview of the Mandukya Upanishad, followed by a focused study of important verses from the Mandukya Karika, unveiling subtle and powerful dimensions of the Upanishadic teachings that are often overlooked upon first reading.

This retreat warmly welcomes all levels of meditators, from beginners to advanced practitioners. While prior experience in meditation is recommended, it is not essential. To support your understanding, a glossary of Sanskrit terms will be provided, ensuring that everyone can fully engage with the teachings.

Come and deepen your spiritual practice, gain clarity, and experience inner peace in the company of others on the same sacred journey

The retreat will consist of the following:

  • Observing a vow of silence throughout the four days
  • Classes on Mandukya Upanishad and Karika (Sravanam)
  • Self Contemplation (Mananam)
  • Guided non-dual meditation sessions (Nididhyasana)
  • Silent sitting meditation sessions
  • Walking meditation sessions
  • Question and Answer sessions
  • Energetic Movement sessions
